husband and i got to play lumberjacks for a day and went a huntin' to cut down the perfect christmas tree at this adorable tree farm in issaquah. there was a bonfire, hot apple cider, christmas music playing, and little elves running around in santa hats helping strap trees to all the cars. for this cali-girl, it was a christmas tree hunting dream come true.
temp was in the high 30's (felt like -30's), so bundling up was a must. puffy vests are a great go-to if you'll be out in the cold for a long period of time, and a good waffle shirt (thermal) can do wonders for warmth as well.
have you gotten your tree yet?! we ended up picking a 7 foot noble fir. and cutting it down was everything i thought it would be! "timberrrr!!!" ladies and gentlement, meet wilbur...
